Front Desk Receptionist

 

Responsibilities

You are the face of the Studio.  The first to greet and meet our amazing customers and athletes.  The front desk receptionist provides customer service at True Cycling during the operating hours. Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting, assisting, and checking in customers; handling memberships and purchases; assisting with the inventory of supplies; maintaining the work area, equipment, and supplies neat, organized, and ready for classes; alerting staff of any equipment safety or maintenance issues; enforcing policies and rules of etiquette; assisting with equipment sanitation; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

 Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR/AED certification required, or ability to obtain one within 30 days from hire
  • Complete at least four (4) hours of training at the studio. Completion of training does not guarantee hire
  • Availability to attend staff meetings at least once per month, and join at least two classes per month with the owners
  • Customer service experience and excellent interpersonal communication
  • Personable, customer-centric, professional, motivated, positive and hard-working individual with a love for health and fitness
  • Working knowledge of MS Office

Fitness Instructor

 

True Cycling Studio is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Pilates, and TRX Functional Training Instructors. We are dedicated to creating a dynamic, inspirational, engaging, fun and most importantly TRUE Fitness Experience for all our customers.  We are looking for instructors who poses a proven ability or can build a loyal following. All team members will be empowered to contribute to the growth of True Cycling Studio by helping to fill their classes and promoting the True Cycling brand via social media outlets as well as word of mouth. We have an aggressive incentive based pay schedule for our coaches that allows them substantial opportunity for income growth. The harder you work, the more people you draw into your classes, the more money you make. Qualified applicants will either have previous experience in leading, coaching, teaching or ability to quickly learn these skills.  Open availability is required. Responsibilities

Dependent on abilities and certifications pre and post hiring the fitness instructor will lead some of the cycling, yoga, Pilates, TRX, or functional training classes available at True Cycling Studio. Duties include, but are not limited to assisting with greeting and checking in customers; enforcing studio house rules; maintaining the work area and equipment neat and organized.

 Requirements

  • At least one year of experience as a fitness instructor / coach or similar
  • Complete at least 16 hours of training at the studio. Completion of training does not guarantee hire
  • Availability to attend staff meetings at least once per month, and join at least two classes per month with the owners
  • Availability to teach classes for at least one year
  • Promote and participate in events coordinated by True Cycling, or as needed
  • Stages, Pavigym, or TRX certification preferred, as well as to other health and fitness certifications:

Cycling – Stages certification preferred. Schwinn, Keiser, Les Mills, USA Cycling, Spinning or Mad Dog is a plus

Yoga certification – 200 hours minimum

TRX functional training – Hold at least two certifications from the following courses: Suspension training (STC), Functional Training (FTC), Group Training (GTC), Rip Training (RTC), or TEAM course

  • Ability to lead a fitness class with confidence and in accordance with curriculum and guidelines set and prescribed by True Cycling Studio management
  • CPR/AED certification required, or ability to obtain one within 30 days from hire
  • Must have basic computer skills and a reliable source of music access. Proficient in iTunes, Spotify, or other music library source
  • Ability to learn and adapt. Team player with a positive attitude
  • Personable, professional, motivated, positive and hard-working individual with a love for health and fitness. Strong Interpersonal communication and inspiring leadership skills.
