About The Owners
Jorge is an avid cyclist with road racing experience, who has been coaching cycling on and off throughout the years (Certified USA Cycling Coach), and has attended indoor cycling and spin classes over the past fifteen years. He is well involved in community services and participates in several annual cycling and charity events. He's also competed in Marathons, Triathlons and Endurance Races. His favorite music genres are Latin, house, trance, and classical rock. He's excited to get you pumped up for your high-energy ride by fusing his cycling experience with his Latin percussion skills during his performance based and rhythm classes! He holds certifications in TRX®, Pavigym™, Stages® instructor, GURU® Bike Fitter, U.S. Army Master Fitness, Air Assualt and Pre-Airborne Instructor.
Diana has been actively involved in physical fitness for the last twenty years. Her passion for health and her sense of community led her towards becoming a certified TRX®, Pavigym™, and Stages® instructor. She likes all types of music genres, but her favorite styles are hip-hop, Latin, and electronic music. Her leadership background and training experience will keep you focused on reaching your fitness goals! She will encourage you to enjoy and push your limits!
About The Instructors
Xu became interested in yoga due to constant back pain after the birth of her first child. She immediately fell in love with yoga as it made feel better physically and emotionally. She chose to become a yoga instructor to help others experience the same positive affects of yoga that she has. She is a registered Yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance. Her hope is that students feel as passionate about yoga as she does. Xu also likes to add Chinese elements to her classes. As her name implies, Xu hopes every day the sun rises high and beams within you.
Lisa has been passionate about group fitness for over 15 years. She is highly motivated to help others reach their health and fitness goals! She recently became a group fitness coach at our studio. She holds the following certifications: Stages® cycling , TRX® Functional and Suspension training. Lisa has the drive, knowledge and enthusiasm to apply the correct techniques to help clients achieve their goals and see results!
Amanda believes working out should be fun and always keeps up with the hottest and latest workout trends. She loves to come up with new ways to spice up her exercise routines and wants to get others excited about working out while helping them achieve their fitness goals. She has been actively involved in fitness throughout the years and always pushes herself beyond her limits. She recently became a certified TRX® instructor. Her positive energy, upbeat personality, passion, and drive is sure to encourage, inspire, and motivate anyone who joins her TRX® and Functional Training classes!
Rochelle has been teaching fitness classes for over ten years. She has a Bachelors in Physical Education and holds certifications for Stages® Cycling, Pavigym™, Pilates™, Zumba™ and Functional Training. She loves to help others feel great about themselves, and believes that having fun while working out is the key to achieving ones fitness goals.
Lindsay is a passionate, caring and driven individual who enjoys a challenge and inspiring others. She has been leading indoor cycle classes for five years and creates an engaging environment that will keep you motivated to achieve your fitness goals! Lindsay has an enthusiasm for helping others find their "true" and honoring their best self. Join her weekly for not only a good sweat, but a little encouragement that will carry you through your week.
Jayme has been practicing yoga for over 10 years, initially for fitness, but now continues her practice for both physical and emotional health. She began her yoga teacher training journey to be able to share the gift of yoga and because she has a passion for helping others. Jayme has taken an interest in trauma informed yoga. She also has a master's degree in Physical Therapy, where she has spent over 10 years working in a variety of settings. Currently, she loves her job which consists of working with small children.
JLo is a member of True Cycling Studio. After having success with her fitness goals and loving everything TCS has to offer, she has joined our team of instructors.
She is excited to share her energy and passion for cycling with our TCS family. “You don’t have to be a size two to be fit and strong!!”
Tom’s interest in yoga began in 1998 when he took yoga classes at various studios in the central Maryland area. Upon retiring from his 34 year teaching career, Tom became a certified yoga instructor completing his teacher training at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in western Massachusetts. He started teaching yoga in Harford County in 2010. His Yoga classes are relaxing and enjoyable, thought provoking and introspective, meditative and invigorating.
Debbie began doing yoga to help address a back injury while in college, and has been practicing ever since. Her exploration of yoga has been completed through classes as well as through a variety of videos. She has taken workshops in Anusara Yoga with Todd Norian at Kripalu, as well as a partners yoga retreat at the Satchadinanda Ashram in Yogaville, Virginia with her husband Tom. After her retirement from the school system, Debbie pursued her ongoing interest in yoga and completed the 200 hour yoga Divine Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Cabuya, Costa Rica.
